Nikolay 0524/2N Nova Flex Pointe Shoe - Medium Shank
Nikolay's Nova Flex Pointe shoe is made on Nikolay's innovative 2007 last. The 2007 last was developed to meet the anatomical needs of medium-width feet, medium arches, and medium or long toes. This design accommodates approximately 90% of ballerinas, thanks to its tapered and dynamic form.
Featuring a U-shaped medium vamp and a flat, stable platform wider than the 3007, the Nova Flex provides excellent balance and placement. Hand-balanced and constructed with a special lightweight elastic paste, the box molds to the shape of the foot after the first wear. The Nova Flex incorporates Nikolay's Pro Technology, a noise-reducing strip on the pointe platform and sole under the toes, making these pointe shoes almost noiseless on stage. Thanks to the lowered sides and heel, the Nova Flex offers a sleek fit, while the machine-stitched sole and FLEX Technology used in the shank construction ensures seamless transitions from demi-pointe to pointe and back.
The Nova Flex is made with two particularly innovative technologies:
- PRO technology creates a quiet platform and makes these pointe shoes almost noiseless on stage.
- FLEX technology used in the shank construction ensures easier roll-up from demi-pointe to pointe, hugging the dancer's arch to perfection.
- This model has a U-shaped medium vamp and a drawstring.
- The sole is machine-stitched.
