For women, the recommended fit is the same size as your street shoes for a snug fit. If you have a wide foot or are in between sizes, we recommend you go up a half size.

great shoes + great store
I ordered these in white less than a week before a performance and they arrived quickly. Huge thank you to the store's owner! I wear street size 8.5 and ordered the exact same size in these. People often suggest sizing up with character shoes, but in my experience the leather stretches. The 8.5 was tight at first, but after ~6 hours of wearing them with thick socks, they had stretched pretty well. I would size up if you don't dance often, but I would say you're safe to get your street size if you're planning on wearing them several hours per week. The shoes look great, and again HUGE thank you to Linden's Dancewear for carrying a very hard to find color (the white) and saving my performance!
